ABOUT US

We are passionate about improving lives by harnessing the healing power of our relationship with dogs. We are a 501 C (3), donation supported non-profit that was formed in 2006.

We provided service dogs for Texas veterans with combat related PTSD and or mobility challenges.  We provide service dogs for first responders with service related physical or mental disabilities.  We provide facility dogs for fire stations, nursing homes and other environments where the unconditional love of a dog is soothing to humans.  We provide Bow Wow Therapy Dogs at local schools and library.  We provide Bow Wow Therapy Dogs at family courts, in the Children's hospital, nursing homes and hospitals.  We provide professional instruction for civilians, first responders and veterans who want to train their own service dog.

We believe every individual has importance in this world and should be treated with respect and kindness. We believe in positive reinforcement. We believe harnessing the powerful connection between humans and dogs improves lives.

Our trainers all have professional credentials (CPDT-KA and AKC Evaluators) and participate in continuing education classes each year. We are a fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.  For us, dog training is a career based on our passion for working with dogs and humans.

Join us for a class and experience the difference experience and passion can make when training your dog.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Every Dog and Every Human has Importance

We believe every individual has importance in this world and should be treated with respect and kindness. We believe in positive reinforcement. Every day we witness how harnessing the powerful connection between humans and dogs improves lives.

New Hope Ranch

Our 7-acre facility in Cedar Park, Texas was built by our community.  Businesses and individuals came together to build a fresh, bright and welcoming campus to welcome you, your family and your dog.  Our goal is to make you comfortable.  We want you to feel like you are visiting your friend's home.  We have free internet access, coffee, sun screen, bug spray, dog waste pick up bags, and more.  We keep our lobby areas stocked with toys for kids and magazines for adults.  While you are visiting us, enjoy:

  • Large, clean & quiet training rooms designed by acoustical engineers
  • Outdoor butterfly gardens and shady dog parks
  • Cute boutiques with dog treats, clickers, toys and logo gear
  • Modern projectors and sound equipment
  • Comfortable chairs and ample training supplies
  • Fully fenced agility field with regulation sized equipment
  • Grooming center

To ensure your safety, all our staff members are trained on CPR and first aid for both dogs and humans every other year and both of our buildings and outdoor classrooms have defibrillators and first aid kits available.

Please note, staff is only on campus for pre-arranged appointments.  Please do not drop by unexpectedly.  Instead, let's set up a zoom meeting or schedule an appointment.  We can't wait to meet you.
